Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our GPS fishing maps.

What exactly am I buying?

You're buying a digital download of GPS fishing coordinates (waypoints) for a specific region of Florida. Each package includes coordinates for verified reefs, wrecks, ledges, flats, and other productive fishing structure. Files come in GPX, KML, PDF, and CSV formats.

Will these work with my chartplotter?

Yes. Our GPX files work with all major marine chartplotters including Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Humminbird, Raymarine, and Furuno. If your unit can import waypoints, our files will work.

How do I load the spots into my chartplotter?

Copy the GPX file to an SD card, insert it into your chartplotter, and import the waypoints. It takes about 2 minutes. We include detailed instructions for every major brand. Visit our How It Works page for step-by-step guides.

How are these spots verified?

Every coordinate in our database has been verified by experienced Florida charter captains and local guides. We don't scrape public data or use auto-generated coordinates. These are real spots that real fishermen use.

What file formats are included?

Every purchase includes four formats: GPX (for chartplotters), KML (for Google Earth), PDF (printable coordinate lists), and CSV (spreadsheet format). You get all four with every purchase.

How quickly will I receive my files?

Instantly. After payment, you'll receive an email with download links within seconds. No waiting, no physical shipping. Download your files immediately and head to the water.

Can I use these on my phone or tablet?

Absolutely. The KML files work with Google Earth on any device, and the GPX files are compatible with most GPS and fishing apps including Navionics. The PDF coordinate lists can be printed and taken on the boat as backup.

How many spots are in each package?

It varies by region — from 180 to 400+ coordinates per regional package. Bundle packages include over 1,000 spots, and the All Florida package includes 4,000+ coordinates covering the entire state.

Do you offer refunds?

Due to the digital nature of our products, we generally don't offer refunds once files have been downloaded. However, if you experience any technical issues, contact us and we'll make it right.

Are these the same spots available on free websites?

No. Our coordinates come from private databases maintained by local charter captains and guides. While some public reef coordinates overlap, the majority of our spots — especially the most productive ones — are not available anywhere else.

Do you update the coordinates?

Yes. We regularly verify and update our coordinate databases. New artificial reefs, recently discovered structure, and updated notes are added throughout the year. Existing customers receive notifications when significant updates are available for their regions.

Can I share the files with friends?

Our files are licensed for personal use only. We'd appreciate if you point your fishing buddies to our site to purchase their own copies — it helps us keep verifying and adding new spots.
